What is CoNest?

CoNest is a child-centred co-parenting platform that brings schedules, secure communication, child profiles, handovers, documents, expenses, school and health information, and everyday updates into one connected space across two homes.

What can CoNest help me manage?

CoNest helps organise shared calendars, collections and handovers, secure messages, structured requests, child information, school and health updates, expenses, important documents, photos, certificates, routines, belongings and practical information that needs to stay clear across both homes.

Is CoNest only a shared calendar?

No. The shared calendar is only one part of CoNest. The platform also includes secure and structured communication, child timelines and profiles, handover planning, document storage, expenses, practical updates, account controls and shared information for each child.

How many children does CoNest support?

CoNest supports multiple child profiles within the same shared space, so you do not need a separate account for each child. Each child can have their own profile, schedule, timeline, documents, routines and important information.

Can both parents or guardians use the same CoNest space?

Yes. Authorised parents or guardians can connect to the same shared CoNest space and access the information and features available to them. One person can be the billing owner, while the eligible plan features apply across the connected space.

Can another authorised adult be given access?

Where appropriate, CoNest can support invited and permission-controlled access for an authorised parent, guardian or other approved adult. Access should only be granted to people who are entitled to see the relevant information, and permissions can be limited rather than giving everyone access to everything.

What communication options does CoNest support?

CoNest supports secure messages and calls, structured communication only, and a no-direct-communication or legal-restriction mode. This allows the shared space to reflect the level of communication that is safe, appropriate and permitted for the connected adults.

Can CoNest read a court order?

Yes. A court order can be uploaded securely for CoNest to analyse. CoNest can help identify practical information in the order, such as dates, contact arrangements, handover points, recurring schedules, school-holiday provisions, notice periods, communication restrictions, review dates and other instructions that may affect the shared schedule.

What happens after CoNest analyses a court order?

CoNest presents the information it has identified for review and confirmation before it is added to the calendar or used elsewhere in the shared space. This helps prevent an incorrectly recognised date or arrangement from being applied automatically. The original court order remains the source document.

Can CoNest interpret a court order or give legal advice?

No. CoNest can organise and highlight practical information from an uploaded order, but it does not decide what an order legally means, determine whether someone has complied with it, change its terms or replace advice from a solicitor, barrister, court or qualified professional. Any unclear or disputed wording should be checked professionally.

Can I upload other documents, photos and certificates?

Yes. The CoNest Vault can hold relevant court orders, school letters, health information, travel documents, certificates, receipts, photographs and other important records. Uploaded items can be organised around the correct child and kept available to authorised connected users.

Does CoNest automatically add dates found in documents?

CoNest can identify possible dates and recurring arrangements from uploaded documents, but users are asked to review and confirm the information before it is saved. This is particularly important for court orders, school term dates and documents where a date depends on wording elsewhere in the document.

Can I use CoNest if the other parent has not joined yet?

You can create your CoNest account and begin setting up your space. Features that rely on shared participation become available once the other authorised person accepts an invitation and connects to the space.

Does the website use the same account as the CoNest app?

Yes. Your CoNest account, profile, shared space and subscription are designed to work across both the website and mobile app, so you do not need separate accounts for each platform.

Can I sign in with Google or Apple?

Yes. CoNest supports email and password sign-in, together with Google and Apple sign-in where those providers are available and connected to your account.

Can both connected homes use one subscription?

Yes. A paid CoNest plan applies to the connected shared space rather than charging each connected parent separately. One account is recorded as the billing owner, while the plan's eligible features are available across the connected space.

How much does CoNest cost on the website?

CoNest Free costs £0. CoNest Plus costs £7.99 monthly or £79.99 yearly on the website. CoNest Pro costs £11.99 monthly or £119.99 yearly on the website.

Can I access or request a copy of my CoNest data?

Yes. Account holders can request access to their personal information. CoNest can also compile relevant records, messages, files and audit information for verified member requests or lawful requests from courts and authorised public bodies, subject to identity, authority, scope and data-protection checks.

Is CoNest an emergency or safeguarding service?

No. CoNest is not monitored as an emergency service and does not replace the police, local authority, court, safeguarding services or professional support. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency service or relevant authority.

Is CoNest available now?

Yes. CoNest accounts, the website experience and the connected mobile app are available as part of the CoNest service. Features may continue to expand as the platform develops.
